Conformance status

This website is designed to conform with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We aim for full conformance and are actively addressing remaining issues. Conformance means the content meets all requirements of the specified level without exception.

Current status: Partially conformant. Some areas of the website do not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria, but we are working to close these gaps.

Measures to support accessibility

Digitaltableteur takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Integrate accessibility into our design and development processes

  • Use automated and manual testing tools (axe-core, screen readers) throughout development

  • Train team members on accessibility best practices and WCAG guidelines

  • Include people with disabilities in our user testing when possible

  • Regularly review and update our accessibility practices

Accessibility standards applied

We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and improve usability for all users.

Technical specifications

The accessibility of this website relies on the following technologies:

  • HTML5 – semantic markup for proper document structure

  • CSS3 – for visual presentation and responsive design

  • JavaScript – for interactive components with ARIA attributes

  • WAI-ARIA 1.2 – to enhance accessibility of dynamic content

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

This website is designed to be compatible with recent versions of the following assistive technologies and browsers: screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver), browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), keyboard navigation (all interactive elements reachable and operable), and voice control software. Older browsers or assistive technologies may experience reduced functionality.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of this website may not be fully accessible:

  • Some third-party embedded content (videos, maps) may not be fully accessible. We provide alternatives where possible.

  • Older PDF documents may not meet current accessibility standards. We are working to remediate these files.

  • Some complex interactive features are still being improved for full keyboard and screen reader support.

We are actively working to address these limitations. If you encounter a specific barrier, please contact us so we can assist you or provide an alternative.

Non-accessible content

The website is not fully accessible. The content or functions listed below are not fully compliant with the statutorily mandated accessibility requirements. We strive to continuously correct any detected shortcomings. This accessibility statement's list of shortcomings is updated every time we rectify a shortcoming.

  • Some code blocks and technical examples may not meet all contrast requirements

  • Focus order in complex interactive components may not be optimal in all scenarios

  • Some dynamically loaded content may not immediately announce changes to screen readers

We continuously monitor and improve these areas. If you encounter other accessibility issues not listed here, please report them through our feedback channels.

Assessment and testing

We assess the accessibility of this website through: automated testing using axe-core, Lighthouse, and WAVE tools; manual keyboard navigation testing; screen reader testing with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver; periodic third-party accessibility audits; and user feedback from people with disabilities.
